The Energy Crash

The spike-then-crash cycle is avoidable once you see what's driving it.

The rollercoaster

A fast rise in energy is usually followed by a matching fall. Big sugary snacks and large doses of caffeine both tend to spike you up and then drop you below where you started.

Aim for steady, not high

The goal isn't to feel maximally wired. It's to feel reasonably even from morning to evening. Meals that combine protein, fiber and some fat release energy more gradually than a pastry-and-latte spike.

The foundation underneath

Steady days are easier when your baseline nutrition is handled, you're hydrated, and you're not deep in sleep debt. Supplements support that foundation; they don't replace food and rest.
